Educators develop nurturing relationships with your child to guarantee a sense of trust and belonging. Be assured at Surrey Hills Baptist Early Learning Centre our approach to early childhood education and care ensures that your little person will flourish in a safe loving environment.
Your baby experience
Our Nursery program is a collaborative effort with your family. At SHBELC we acknowledge that babies are inquisitive and therefore focus on their social, emotional, language, physical and cognitive development, all of which are underpinned by the Early Years Learning Framework, a nationally recognised curriculum guide reflected within our program planning. The journey of early childhood education begins with understanding the unique needs of both your child and your family. At SHBELC your child will not only be card for – they will be nurtured and supported to grow and develop in their own unique way.
From play equipment to sensory experiences our space fosters curiosity and developmental progress. Central to our baby care philosophy and nurturing nursery program, we pride ourselves on taking into account each child’s daily routine to ensure they transition with ease. We support babies who are both breast fed, or formula fed and our tasty nutritious meals are prepared fresh from the Kitchen – a fully registered, 5 star, Food Safety Premise, each day considering each’s child’s palate, allergies and family food preferences.
Familiarity with a daily routine provides babies with a sense of stability and nurtures their self- confidence. Our skilled and experienced educators build strong relationships, provide safe environments and implement meaningful learning experiences related to the children’s interests and developmental abilities.
A Smooth Transition to Care

What People Are Saying
“I couldn't think of a better place to leave our child when I'm at work; and let's face it, it is one of hardest things you will do as a parent when you go back to work - finding somewhere and someone to help your child grow and learn when you don't have the means to do so yourself. Thank you!
